Congrats Morgo Club Game Record

FOOTBALL MILESTONE

This weekend a much loved, valued and highly respected member of our club breaks a long-held record of 311 club games, which has been held by the late Andrew “Angry” Hollonds since 2008.

We congratulate Shane Morgan on becoming the player to have played the most games for the red, white and black.

Shane has been playing for the Cowwarr Football Netball Club for nearly 20 years which shows the great amount of dedication and loyalty he has. Over this time, he has achieved a number of great accomplishments within our club and the North Gippsland Football Netball League which includes the following:

2005 League B&F (under 18’s)

2006 Rookie of the Year

2006 Senior Premiership

Multiple team of the year player 2006,2012 & 2019

2019 League Leading goalkicker

Over 400 career goals with Cowwarr

Cowwarr Football Netball Club would like to congratulate Morgo on this amazing achievement! You have been a great role model for our younger club members to look up to and a huge asset to our club for many years and we hope you will be here for many more to come.

We would like to encourage all of Morgo’s friends and family, players past and present and all Cowwarr supporters to come along and celebrate what is a monumental milestone and something we are all extremely proud of. Join us in the clubrooms at half time of the reserves where a presentation will be held.
