No Rest for the Seconds
In the past the Seconds have been able give themselves a rest by kicking the ball as far over the fence as possible allowing for a break while it was retrieved.
THIS YEAR the Cowwarr Football Netball Club has once again invested in a project that has not only increased the amount of parking available behind the goals (without damage to vehicles) but also made our seconds fitter by having to continue play without a break.
The erection of three poles at each end of the ground and the installation of nets has been a great improvement for all concerned.
A big thank you needs to go to Steve Cooper for the time he put into investigating all of the options that have been used throughout both this league and surrounding one’s.
Once again our sponsors, members and committee have been our greatest asset in the fabrication and installation of this great achievement.
This project still cost the club $7000 but was estimated @ $12-$15000
Our sponsors have once again come to the fore with their generosity it is something the club can not do without and it shows when projects like this come to fruition.
